Will it work with Australian power?

Yes. Nex says the included power supply is universal voltage (100 to 240V), so no converter is needed. It has a US plug, so you just need a simple plug adapter for an Australian socket. Always use the power supply that comes in the box.

Does it work in Australia?

Nex's support site says Playground works overseas. It needs an internet connection to download games and updates, and downloaded games keep working offline. The five included games work without a subscription; the full library needs a Play Pass.

Most US manufacturer warranties only apply in the US. We inspect every item before it ships so problems are caught here, not at your door.

About it

Nex Playground is a small games console for kids and families that plugs into your TV and uses a built-in wide angle camera to follow body movement, so there are no controllers to hold. Kids play by jumping, ducking and waving, and up to four people can play at once.

It comes with five games, including Fruit Ninja and Whac-a-Mole. A Play Pass subscription, bought separately, unlocks the full library, which includes games built around characters kids already know.

It has become a popular family gift in the US, but Nex only ships within the US from its own store and it is not sold through Australian retailers. We buy it in the US, check it at our hub and send it to you by FedEx.
