Is this the same size as a regular American Girl doll?

No. Modern Era dolls are 14.5 inches, smaller and slimmer than the classic 18 inch historical dolls, so 18 inch doll clothes will not fit.

Are other characters available?

Yes, the Modern Era collection also includes Samantha, Molly, Kirsten, Josefina and Addy at the same price. Tell us which one you want when you request a quote.

About it

A 14.5 inch reimagining of Felicity Merriman, one of American Girl's original historical characters, made for the brand's 40th anniversary. She has green eyes and auburn hair in a half up ponytail, and comes in a rose print satin top, flared jeans, platform ankle boots, a beaded necklace and a saddlebag purse with a horse charm.

The Modern Era dolls are smaller and slimmer than the classic 18 inch dolls and are aimed at ages 8 and up, which makes them a nice gift for older kids and for adults who grew up with the originals.

The collection is sold through American Girl in the US, and Amazon US stocks it directly.
